I have got my lund fishing boat stripped and ready for paint. I have read on here about using fleet supply paint and hardener. now what is the brand of paint, hardener , and thinner . I do not want to use auto paint. this is just a fishing boat , but I want it to look nice. and I will be spraying the paint. any help guys. thanks frog

there is a generic hardner out there,,but where up there I cant help greg,why not a quart of restolum,Bill

Greg I got mine from Tractor Supply and it was Valspar, I think they have their own brand now.

Greg, Rustoleum enamel. the generic hardner like Bill said is sold right along the paint usually in a small pint can. All the directions are on the can. Usually with aluminum an etching primer should be used, zink chromate or something. Helps it bond. Just don't want you to have it start peeling in a few years. The Rustoleum comes in the standard, blue, green, yellow, red, white, black.
