When I first started looking and talked to Hagerty's they said alwayd insure for at least $12K of value. Anything less than that and no one would quote me. Just my experience with it. Hagerty denied me insurance, saying any tunnel hull boat is a racer. I told them I was lucky to get it over 40 mph, they could have cared less. Progressive did it within minutes.

I had a similar problem with Hagerty with my hot rod, and ended up with JC Taylor. I honestly don't know how they stay in business.
