TOPIC: CVX 16 next winter project

Heading out on a 4hr drive to pick up this coming winters project . Found a Glasstron CVX 16 needs floor and transom and interior repair . Not sure how bad gelcoat is, told it has been clearcoated hope it is in good shape , if not been watching you to videos on spraying metal flake . Now just have to break it to the wife , she thought I was going to work on the house this year . try to get pictures when I get it home.

When you bring it home. Tell the wife that you needed a canvas to pick the correct house paint color ?
Or if you hide it till July 23rd.... It's Perents' Day ? and you got her a gift ! Too bad she can't take it back to the store

Went for a drive this morning to pick up the CVX. Not to bad a shape compared to some I have done , but I think it will be split to replace floor and transom . Also think it will go through a color change to the blue on blue maybe a little silver , will depend on how good I can spray the metallic flakes. Will be covered and put away until October , need to play with last years project for the next couple months.
