Wow, power cats are a hot topic.
I'm going to check out a couple of them this week. They are complete restore projects with trailers and merc power of unknown condition.. Any thoughts on values, no pics at this time, sorry.

Great !!! They are a cool boat. Probably shouldn't say , I picked up my 1962 14 T , project boat , came with 3 mercury 35 AE's , a 1949 mercury KE -7 , a westbend 8 and 8 pair of vintage wood skies for $300. I almost felt guilty !!! I didn't even dicker, just paid him and hooked it up. Sometime ya just get lucky !!! So there worth what you'll pay !! Good luck, mite be your lucky day !!!

Browndog:
I have loosely been tracking Power Cats that come up for sale nationwide
for several years now, and I have noticed a definite downturn in the number
of available boats of late. I track mostly ebay, craigslist, and several boat
forums. With all of these boats that are no longer in production, there is
obviously a limit to the number that are out there. In addition to my searches
our owners group of about 400 nationwide active members, also report boats that come
available when they come across them. It may just be a lull in the activity or some other
economic factor but its is something I have noticed.

I searched for 2 years before Danny posted a 18dc available in Oregon With a little encouragement from Bill Anderson I bought the boat last October. Will be heading out to get my first Powercat in May.
