TOPIC: Identify Dad's Boat

Identify Dad's Boat 7 years 8 months ago #129792

Hi all, Been away from here for about 10 years, but finally ran into out photos of the first boat my Dad purchased in McHenry, Ill in 1957 when we lived there for a short time.. I was only around eight at the time but remembered it and never knew what it was.
Small cool cabin wood boat that he started to redo the hull on. My Mom passed almost three years ago and had these pics of it so wanted to see if anyone knew what it was.

Thanks, Al

Yes it would be! From what I remember it had a small door to the cabin part and open in the stern, never have seen one like it. And thats my younger brother by six years not me.
He never got it in the water because his Dad passed away so we had to move back to Ohio to run Tennent's furniure store in Wooster. He was a printer and didn't care for the business.
Thanks for checking it out, Al
