That reminds me too much of what I saw outside my window this morning.
Fortunately it doesn't last too long here in the Great PNW (state of Washington)

It is definitely that time of the year that if you have your boat outside, you want to have the motor vertical so the exhaust cavity in front of the propeller doesn't fill up with water, freeze, and bust your gear case wide open.

Nicer when you do not have to chop to get the boat in. Nice pictures...boat traffic likely lighter.

Great tip to add Doc! I just followed your advice a few weeks back. I saw an outboard the other day while crossing the State (Wi) that looked like it trapped the rain and slush of the first storms (now it will be in the teens this week and near 0 at night. Hope they "trimmed down" before it dropped below 32).
