TOPIC: Where & how to post photo's of FG boat w/o ID ?

Where & how to post photo's of FG boat w/o ID ? 7 years 10 months ago #129140

I'm looking a fiberglass boat that has all id and tags removed (?)
No serial # on Transom, I see "RIDE GUIDE" in center of steering wheel, 15' long. I bet someone knows all about this boat....

OK now how do I post photo's (nice and detailed instructions) please.
Thank-you .

First, reduce your photo size to about 1 MB (1000 KB) by right clicking on the photo, then click on "open with" and choose "paint." Look for "resize" and then click on that. I generally use 40% for my photos but it depends on how large your photos are to start with. (Mine are about 2500 KB) Click "OK." The go to the upper left hand corner and hit "file" then "save as." Give the reduced photo a name (I always use the same name with an "X" in front of it to remind me that it's a reduced photo.) Save the photo to wherever you want.

On fiberglassics, hit "choose file" at the bottom and then go to your photos and click on the one you want. To add more photos, go back into your post by hitting "edit" and load another photo.

By the way, a "Ride Guide" steering wheel/system was used on many boats and has nothing to do with the boat manufacturer. Post the photos. Someone here will tell you what you have. If there is still a registration number (or the shadow of one after the decals were removed), contact the DMV and they'll be able to track it and tell you what it is.

If none of this works, take up golf. Good luck.
