TOPIC: Passing the Bug !!

My son picked up a 1969 Larson All American this weekend . Really in great shape ,just needs some love , no tears in the interior ,everything there . has a 1968 johnson 100 hp. He bought it from the original owners ,who bought it new in 69. It was an amazing story about the boat and family . Been garage kept since new .

Nice find! I love those kind of finds where previous owner took care of it to turn in into a classic survivor! Great one to find when passing on the Bug. I used that Flitz product and it took away the hazy look found on the boat colors and even white surface. Then spray wax and wow. I tried it on an old wrecked fiberglass snowmobile hood before trying it on my boat. I do not have the tools or skills to do a professional job with buffers, compounds, etc. Perhaps you do or have access to a pro. I did not, but am very happy with my results. Did it without the worry of burning through anything (did mine by hand), but they do have a buff ball I also want to try on other projects. Just my 2 cents, but certainly do what is best for you.

I found an old Montgomery Wards (SeaKing) boat in pristine condition, like your boat is. Such a great piece of history! Never can take it out without getting admirers! Enjoy!
