TOPIC: 2017 FiberGlassics Calendar!!! Send pics now!

This year's calendar production will start so orders can be shipped before Christmas as many people want them as gifts. So, to get started and have them ready in a timely manner, we would like to start receiving your photos as soon as possible.

All photos should be high resolution: send large image files to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Also, send a brief caption to go with the photo.

We don't have a theme for this year so it's just going to be a choice of composition and quality of image. You can send as many photos as you like.

Depending on how many are received will determine the layout.

Hi Ken,
As I suggested when we talked on the phone last week to keep the Theme simple and call it Fun In The Sun. As winter quickly approaches I think we all want to remember the fun we had in the sun this summer.
I will email this off to ya too, But to inspire others here is a boat I picked up 3 weeks ago. Its a all original 1962 Magnolia Barracuda 16' with a 75hp johnson. I call it just a nice survivor though it was repainted red from baby blue and shows some battle scars it still runs out great. I am sure it will get some shop time and be beautiful next spring. Maybe this boat is not the quality to make the cut for the calendar but its still a nice ol boat. I plan on doing a little thread on it soon.

So come on boys lets see those beautiful boats.

Here are a few pictures of Mark and Kimberly Porlier's Original Survivor 1965 Powercat 15T with original 1965 Mercury 1000 short shaft 100hp, and original trailer. I still have the original red rims with clips. Need to clean, get new tires, and new baby moons. Hope one of these pictures is good enough for what you might be looking for. Most pictures were taken at The Anchor in Edgerton, Wisconsin on the Rock River. They hosted our May 2016 Fiberglassics gathering organized by Bill Anderson and the Anchor. Awesome place, people and time. Going next year! Last picture was at the Mother Ship in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The big Powercat seen in one picture of 2 cats was brought up from Mo. by HydroFlyer, his Dad and family. THAT boat was Awesome!!! Please ask his permission if you wanted to select that picture. He likely has good ones of that 23' cat, so I hope he posts more of that rig for the calendar.

Is this all of the pictures you have received? Just wondering as I sent pics of 2 of my boats. Maybe they just didn't get to you.

I replied to anyone who sent, I believe. Note: it isn't neccesary to post them here. Send to the email address. Make sure they are large versions. Write a brief description of each image: make/model year, etc. Include either your real name or username to use in the caption!
