Where are you located? I had been communicating with that seller to make sure the boat didn't end up getting parted out or scrapped. If I hadn't just picked up another boat I could have figured out a way to get into that one, but I am fond of keeping my wife:)
I'm in the Appleton area, so if you're not far, I would love to come see it!

Or you could not worry about it and trade me a Red Fish and Glass Craft for your Dorsett.
That boat is way to kool for skool. Is the sole sound? Does the Gel coat have a lot of spider cracks or other degradation? Just curious because that boat is so rare it really needs to be completely restored and treated like a museum piece. The total package is oh so nice. Thanks for sharing

215 would be too cool!!!
I had the Oldsmobile version that I stuffed into an Opel GT back in 1980... weighed less than the original 4 cylinder! Biggest problem was the bastard bell housing bolt pattern. You'll need to make an adapter, unless someones already done so.
You know, they ran a cosworth version of that engine at Indy, and Mickey Thompson had a destroked, 180 CI supercharged version on the Bonneville salt flats putting out 500 HP!!!
