TOPIC: Hi all

Hi all 8 years 2 months ago #125085

I'm new here and looking for help in identifying what I purchased. I've only got one picture for now. The manufacturer plate is missing. When I bought it it was listed as green 70s boat. The Nebraska registration says it is a 1965 chris craft. I've scoured the Internet trying to find anything that looks like it to no avail. Any help appreciated I'll post more pictures when I get it back from outboard repair.

I have no idea what it is but I can tell you that it is definitely not a Chris Craft. Chris Craft did not make outboard boats in the 1960s.

I sort of looks like my boat but not identical
Based on my research my boat is a 1962 Arkansas Traveler
The front of yours is the part that looks almost identical

Actually Chris-Craft did have a line of outboard fiberglass boats in the 1960s. The Corsair line made at Cortland, NY by Thompson Boat Company of New York, Inc. - a wholly owned subsidiary of Chris-Craft. I have one - 1966 Corsair Sport V with 1966 Evinrude 100 HP.

But I do not think this boat shown is a Chris-Craft

When you did your restoration did you find any mfg markings on the interior that I might find on mine?
