OK time to save face this year so here are the videos. Had to post them to you tube.

Here are the large tunnel hulls.


Here are the 80 hp class, at least I think that's what they are. Smaller Allison's, checkmates, hydrostreams.

Here are the smaller tunnel hulls. Great guy named Bill Edwards is driving the dark blue one with a 135 Chrysler with race pipes. Can hear him coming a mile away! lol

I have still shots also, I'll post them tomorrow. The races are going tomorrow also. There's actually two Switzer Wings there but they are racing, they both have motor issues. They came down from Ontario Canada. I'll post those tomorrow also.

Here's one more video of Bill Edwards in the smaller tunnel, running with the big boys and giving them a run for their money. The Evinrude finally caught up and passed him, the Mercs didn't.

This was an excellent event and I had a blast. Got to stay in the pits all day today so I got better shots of the boats launching and coming in.

Thanks for the memories Bob!! I raced in this smaller boat class (50-75 hp) and 75-100 hp class all thru the '60s and 70's!!

The 1960 G-3 with its 100 hp tower of power that I now have that runs 56+mph would have given these boats a fit!! Wish I lived closer to these events, as I would love to race again before I am not able to drive!!!
