TOPIC: Skagit Inboard ROARS to life after 31 year nap!

312 Interceptor checked out so I started it. Boy was I surprised at how it well it ran after 31 years of storage. It's a fire breather! Previous owner did a great job winterizing it for a 31 year winter. The people who built up this engine nearly 40 years ago knew what they were doing.

I had a 1965 Chris Supersport that was on the bottom of Folsom Lake for 20 yrs or so. Lake got low during a drought. Parks and Rec pulled the boat and I got it. Demucked it, changed out the ignition etc, put new oil in her and fired it up. 427 Ford!! What a roar. Your terrific find brought me back to that boat and motor. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Good for you. Mike in sunny Mapleton, Oregon.
