TOPIC: Paint for the interior of the runabout?

I have just stripped out the sides panels of the boat, removed the controls and now I am ready to paint the interior with a fresh coat of paint.

What paint can I use?

When I replace the panels and add carpet to the bottom only a few places will be seen.

I want the interior paint to be white.

I use 100% acrylic enamel porch paint. Water based! Satin finish. It's lasted 15 yrs on my drift boat and still looks good. I know it sounds crazy but color choice is limitless and lays on easily. Just my two cents. Mike in Oregon.

I used Perma-White Mildew Proof by Zinsser (semi-gloss). It's water based and is self priming and scrubbable. It can be tinted to any color you like. I especially like the mildew resistance for those hard to reach areas.

Well I just finished painting the interior of the Wellcraft, using Sea Gloss White paint, and I am pretty happy with the results.
