New to Fiberglassics,My Crestliner Del Rio 8 years 3 months ago #123164

My "new to me" Crestliner Del Rio with Merc 700.The boat was very lightly used and with a little engine work the Merc fired right up. I have to put new tires on the trailer and then its off to the lake......Rob

Rob, welcome to the fold. Love those Crestliners. Had a few of them and never had problems. Make sure the transom is in good condition and a little spit and polish you should be good to go. Have some good summer fun.

Hi Rob. Welcome. What year is your Del Rio? I'm restoring a 1964 and would love to see more pictures of the interior if you have them. Jim.

Jim, The title says 1966. Its as original as you'll ever find. The lady I bought it from said her dad bought it new in 66,The bill of sale is for $1750.00 or something like that.Anyway she said they used it roughly 10-12 times then he passed. The seats were still covered in plastic so its in very nice shape. The only confusion is the 1961 Merc 700,maybe he got a deal on a leftover or used engine. I'll try to snap some pics this weekend for you. Cant wait to get it out on the water.................Rob

Love the boat. Keep her indoors and she will look like that another 50 years.

I have a 1973 Crestliner Muskie 15 that is in as new condition. My 80 year old Uncle Jules gave it to me last year. It was hardly ever used, and kept in a dark heated garage. My seats are as supple as when new, not even a crack in the vinyl. Motor had only 53 hours on it.

Keep care of her and enjoy her for as long as you can.
