Mark, Paul, Gene, Bill, all the guys who helped me out in Edgerton, thanks. Wasn't all in vain. Sea trials went off without a hitch today. A hole shot that will snap your neck but a little disappointed with top end of 42 gps. A reprop would do wonders. Could probably pull three or four tubers or skiers without any effort. Had to fine tune the little trim tabs a smidgeon and might get a few more miles if the motor was pinned another notch up.

Way to go, Cal! I've only had two boats that passed sea trials without needing attention to some little thing. Job well done!

Which prop are you running now Cal? I think I have an extra 21P for that motor out in the garage if you need it.

Mark S. Thanks for the offer but it's already on craigslist and I'm not going to do anything else to it.
Mark L. I have two more props that will fit it but don't know what the pitch is on either.
Bob, it was an easier than usual rebuild since there is no floor and the transom is a half thing. Sanding and prep was probably the worst of the battle. You have your hands full with the resorter. How's that 85hp running this season?
The "Pull Toy" is up front in the shop, just have to put in a battery and apply the new launch sticker to the trailer. Probably this weekend.

Hope to unwinterizer her tomorrow. Its been so damn rainy haven't been able to get her ready. Plus forgot to register her for this year, DOH! Good to go now, Admiral hooked me up by hitting DNR.

Cal,

Looks like she's really moving! Must feel good to get it all sorted out. Always amazed at your work and how quickly you turn out your renovations!

It was fun. Blew my ball cap off, had to turn around and pull it out of the drink. Went out with an old high school buddy who took the pictures and held the gps.

While running the transom is high out of the water without any backwash, even with a full gas tank and battery but while stopped I learned not to step to the back  Hate to test the seat base floatation.

Congrats! She looks great and it sounds like quite a fun ride. Is it at 2x the max hp rating?

Dave, almost 3X, rated 50. Handles beautifully, no chine walk, arrow straight. Just sits a little low at anchor
