TOPIC: Maintenance/Upgrades

We had planned maintenance yesterday starting at 5 pm EST. I apologize for not posting a notice beforehand: we were so busy getting things ready it slipped my mind.

I could go into details but a picture is worth more:
This is where we moved our servers to: (note that the old location was just as robust, we just were asked to give our space up so they could put another client in our area).

Sorta figured that. Last outage you had mentioned some upgrades coming.

Regarding these data centers: there are literally thousands of computers in them. They consume enormous amounts of power and that is what I am told is the greatest cost in a data center, not the physical space or the bandwidth! So, manufacturers are always looking for ways to cut electrical consumption: hence the rise of solid state hard drives, etc.

Regarding making the site mobile friendly: I'm looking into a component that may work. Will give it a week or so before trying it so we have some good backups.
