Many moons ago, Hot Rod Magazine used to have a boating section called "Rooster Tales" that could be found towards the back of the magazine. I was looking through some of my "vintage" copies of Hot Rod and found this!!!! This has got to be the baddest houseboat I've ever seen for sure!!!!
From September, 1967.

I ran across the photo above by accident but it fits...alligator with maximum horsepower! I was in the "gator Navy," Amphibious Squadron 9, USS Tripoli (LPH-10) 1968-1973. I took "The Great Asian Vacation"...twice...and single-handedly stemmed the tide of Communist aggression in Southeast Asia. If it weren't for me, you'd all be speaking Vietnamese today! Outstanding!
