TOPIC: boat identification

boat identification 14 years 8 months ago #12132

I am trying to identify a finned fiberglass boat I saved from the land fill. The state of pennsylvania has it last regitered in 1998 as a 1957 Barracuda. I can not find a serial number anywhere.

Welcome 53Thompson, have you looked in the FG library under Arena Craft? There are brochures for their Barracuda there, or you can also see a fine example of one restored at: www.fiberglassics.com/glassic-forums/main-forum/barracuda-on-her-new-ride#5619 . Post some pics of yours if you would, we'd love to see her.

Thanks. I'll give them a try. I tried to attach a photo but with no success. I'll give it another try.

Hello Mark, My boat has very narrow two tiered fins. My first attempt at posting a photo was unsuccessful. Let's try it again. Thanks

It's probably a size issue keeping your pics from posting, try this thread from the support column, it's got some good info on pic sizing.

Also, to post multiple pics in one post you put the first pic in and make the post. Then immediately "edit" the post to add another. This can be done as many times as you would like.
