TOPIC: HELP! Looking for a 1960 Glastron Fireflite

Hey guys! I am new to fiberglassics and recently purchased a 1960 Glastron Skiflite with my dad! He bought a 1990 Glastron for the year I was born as a gift to me and I wanted to return the favor by getting him a 1960 Glastron to match. The Skiflite is pretty rough at the moment, but could be a really awesome boat. After doing a little research I have fallen in love with the 1960 Glastron Fireflite with the hardtop, but I can't find one to save my life! To him the Fireflite would be the holy grail and I would love to get one for him! If you guys know of anyone who is trying to get rid of one or has any leads on one that may be for sale and could let me know, it would be greatly appreciated! I have a 1959 Glastron Fireflite. I will sell it for $700. It is in Boise Idaho.

I appreciate the post Larry your boat looks great!! He has been looking for a 1960 to match the year he was born. Already has the 1960 Gator Trailer to go with it as well. If only Dad was a year model older haha!

seems like the 1960s are alot harder to find than the 59s...we also have a 59 fireflite for sale here in kansas

Just came across this today. Thinking Glastron, year? didn't inquire but it looks close to a Fireflite. Maybe a Bayflite?

I have talked to him a few times but can't get anything out of him.. No phone number, no address, nothing! Seems to be playing games. Not really sure what to think of it

Any idea where it is located??

It's located in DeLand, FL (west of Daytona). I'll get out there to get some pics after the rains Saturday. I don't know the length but it looks just like the photos in the other posts. He's got the motor off and the transom needs some work. At some point the top of the hull was painted blue over the original red. The last registration was the mid-90s I think, and the trailer looks to be of about that same time. He's got a title and he's motivated - tried to sell it to me but then my wife gently reminded me of the number of projects I had already.

I found out he wants $250 for the boat & trailer.

If I could only fine a hardtop. I think I am going to take a stab at making one soon.
