I hope somebody knows what this is. The guy I am getting it from says he has the registration for it and that has the info on it but he hasn't been able to find it yet and I just want to know what I got myself into this time. another to add to the growing fleet.
Shaking my head asking really? are you really getting another one?

Not sure what it is, but I really like the high back seats with head rests. Are planning on reupholstering them to keep it original?

Sure, the seats are nice but I particularly like the trailer and it even seems to come with spare tires. Nice find.

OK OK. Can you believe those seats? He was real proud of them, lol what you guys can't see is the double basin extra deep tan porcelain sink with fixtures setting behind those seats!!! The trailer is junk and with the seats and sink stays right there.
The hull is actually in decent shape with most if not all the trim.
I just really want to know what it is. I found no markings anywhere.
It is in way better shape than the 64 Custom Craft I saved a few weeks ago and I can't just let it rot away there. What is it?

Oh just so you guys don't think I have completely lost my marbles I have sofar walked away from this one.

You're already too late, if you're on this site your marbles are gone.
Love both the boats, of course one has fins and the other has style. I just tossed a beautiful set of custom Jeep seats albeit a little rusted and rat infested from my latest project. Things weighed about 200# each, soaked with ice.
No one ever said you lack initiative and ambition.
Since funds and space are limited I only do one at a time, don't keep them but just do it for the love of the old girls and keep them alive to share with others who appreciate them. The term "Flipping" sounds a little harsh for me. The best part is sharing them with others.

That GT160 is well worth saving more than the one at the top of the thread

I agree the glastron gt160 is what I would save. How is it guys can just stumble across boats I have been looking for for years. Not to mention it is red and has its windshield!

I'm more nuts than most. I'd definitely save the Glastron but I hate bow-riders. I'd close in the bow nicely by making a fiberglass deck and drop in a big block Chevy to make a hot rod roadster. I'd also ditch the red paint. Baby blue with an orange stripe like the 1960's Ford GTs sounds good.

We think alike!!! That is just about what I was thinking. The problem in it is the running surface, would it work as a straight inboard?
I am leaning towards taking it because the deal got much sweeter today. He wants my Century Riviera. So now I would get it with a 1978 115hp with pwr trim and all controls and a 68 85hp w/controls, both 6's in nice shape and just for giggles he is tossing in a 1960 Studebaker GT/tt that is all there plus some of the not so green folding stuff.

It could be yours very easily. I also have a 64 Custom Craft that needs a new home.

Well I would have to agree about it being a Magnoliaa, it sure has all the right trim.

Actually it finds me and I really wish it wouldn't. I am not, at this point taking the GT160 or the Baker. However I do want the engines that guy has but sofar he won't sell me them without taking the car/hull. I have no time or space at this point and the GT is rotted beyond repair. The keel area is split ice has opened it up to almost 1/2 inch but he says " Oh a little glass from napa will fix that in a hurry" ya right. I want the rear 1/2 of the deck and nothing more.
I am taking the Magnolia.
