TOPIC: 1961 Renken 15 Deluxe

Went and got this near Atlantic city, Nj. Got the trailer and boat separately, but in the same trip. Total cost...$150.00

The boat is in rough condition since its been sittin under an oak tree for near 30 years. The floor is gone but the stringers are completely fiberglass so there's the silver lining. Not going original on this one, it will be modern but look old.

Its got nice lines, love the dash. Sure wish people wouldn't paint the bottoms. Glad ya got it. Great save!

Nice find, wish I was that lucky. I'm on the hunt for another project, looking for an older fin.

Thanks everyone, I'm super excited about it. I really wish I had some kind of garage I was able to work in but I guess I'll just have to wait for warmer weather to start. Hat left of the tag on the dash says max hp is 45 so I guess I'll be in the market for a motor soon enough. I'd like to put an Evinrude lark on it if I can get my hands on one.

Oh man ya just missed this one, sold it yesterday and its already on a Feather Craft. Real nice low hr engine. I had all the controls and wiring.
