TOPIC: Parts for Amanda Water Scooter

Hello everyone. New member here.
I found some parts for a 1957 Amanda. I have no use for them. Maybe someone here may need them Email vfitom if interested. Have prop shaft, rudder, handles, nose name plate.

Welcome aboard, I saw those on ebay. Share some of the story with us on the scooter.

The scooter was found in a pile of junk that's been standing for some time with its hull all smashed about. The engine, seat and handlebars are gone. We didn't want to waste some good parts so we took these off. I put then on EBay for someone who may see the parts and need them. As far as price goes, I have no idea as to value and just listed them at what I thought was reasonable. I figured maybe someone here on this site has a use for them or may know someone who does. These pwc's are super cool for the time they were built. Wish I had one. Thanks.

So should I pull that hull out and photo it? Needs a lot of fiberglass patching up.

Fyi, you have found the internet home of a great many marine historians/preservationists/restorers, so I suspect that many here (including me) would encourage you to restore/preserve the boat if it's restorable & rare.
