Right in the Toms River. I dont really venture out in to the bay because its too choppy with a SE wind for my little lake boat. But there are enough bars in te river so I dont really need to.

Pretty diverse group of people spread around the world with some very impressive glassics. Price of gasoline in my area is dropping like a lead balloon which should improve outings on the water for us older motor owners.

I stay mostly in the St. Johns River near Green Cove Springs just south of Jacksonville but sometimes I'll launch in Palatka and head "Upriver" south toward Lake George. Occasionally I'll put in the Intracoastal Waterway in St. Augustine and cruise down toward Matanzas. I just hate salt water because of the extensive cleanup required.Gettin into the best boating weather here. Daytimes in the low 70s and nights in the low 60s or high 50s. Love being in the Great Northeast.

Of Florida that is.

American Lake near Fort Lewis Washington. Largest lake in Pierce county, also the most popular. It is so busy on weekends I usually only go out on week days.

Here is a image shot by Jim Brandenburg of some lakes in my neighborhood. This is the BWCAW so no motors allowed. Ely has over 500 lakes within a 30 minute drive so not a problem finding a place to boat, motor or not. 1500 lakes, rivers, streams in the BWCAW and Quetico in Canada. Over a million acres of wilderness. A must visit part of the country.
