I think the tabs are bent the wrong way, they should be counter rotating. lol greg

Perhaps its not spinning as prop nut was not tight, and no "Castle nut, hole in shaft for a not "cotter pin"?

That particular impeller is for use in the southern hemisphere. See if you can swap with a guy in Australia.

Spun the key, happens to me all the time. Gotta torque 'em to factory specs.

That's a racing turbo impeller. It will kick in and pump lots of water at anything over 7500 to 8000 rpm. Just take it out and rev the pi$$ out of it.

It's actually a period correct speed limiter. Get up to about 4000 rpm and and after 'bout 3 minutes it will slow the engine down. Originally issued by local over zealous boating control authorities for 'no wake' zones.
I have several on my shelf that I removed over the years. |
