TOPIC: painting a monster

painting a monster 9 years 1 month ago #114730

ok i know everyone around here will be glad i got the hull painted, i can stop talking about it now. looks good and if it will hold up as what the description said it would i will be in great shape. the painting jig worked fine. allowed me to paint one complete side and then flip for the other. here are a few pictures ok note if you will look at the transom, at the lap joints all those on the back were worn down to nothing, the keel was tapered up ,looks like where it was dragged up a ramp or down the street. i built all that up. looks good now if i say so, and i do alot of work went into that.

moving right along next is the cabin pieces that gets paint.

Great pictures of a super job!
I look forward to seeing the final product of your labors.
I see you have a Tower of Power in the back ground. If that for this boat?

Great job, was it sprayed or brushed and tipped? What did you use for paint?

Hi. Can you say exactly which bottom paint you used from the Bottom Store? There seems to be a lot to choose from on their site. Thanks,

Tom
