TOPIC: painting jig

painting jig 9 years 2 months ago #113027

ok i have the deck painted and the top painted ... i coverup up everything that wasn't going to get painted white then i wanted to paint one side completely without moving the foam. i was going to build another a frame and get another chain fall. but i found some scrap metal and i made a a frame and mounted my up-rite a little off center. using my temp bow eye i fasten it to the front. i moved my a frame to the back again and i can lift the right or left side now and spray one complete side to the keel. flip it and do it again. i was nervous at first but a buddy came over and spotted me until i got started. works fine now. if you can remember the boat is just to big to completely flip over. oh and i bought 5 gallons of light blue tuff coat. for the floor. and walls.

thought i would share.
