Just finished up a 28 foot V-Berth Cabin Cruiser. SailRite material, Memory Foam. Boat never leaves the dock. Customer uses it like a Floating Cabin!!

When I retire next year, looks like I'll be keeping plenty busy!!! Let me know If I can help any of you with any of your upholstery needs!!!

They Look Great!

If your taking orders, I might have you do one for the cabin area of my PowerCat 18dc. Might want 2 large ones, or maybe split in 4 depending on what you think.

Also want to do a rear bench...

Are you going to be making seats that I could hire you to do?

Customer was very pleased. Told me to expect a lot more orders. Said the cove he's docked in has 15 other older cabin cruisers docked in it and they are all like a big family. He's sure the other owners will be jealous when they see how nice his new berth looks.

Yes, I take orders. I require, specific measurements and or Paper patterns or the old covers from the original seats. If you're willing to install the covers once I send em back you can save yourself a lot of money. I've created Bench Seats from Scratch as well as Captains Seats that swivel. Pretty much what ever you need. You can send me a private email and let me know what you need/want. My Profile has my email address.

Here's a pic of the Bench Seat I made from Scratch for my Boat...

Looks good. When I get my machine back together (gotta refinish the table), I'll start playing around. 100 year old 95-10.
So far, I've found that upholstery work is more costly than my entire boat.

That's what drove me to "Learn the Trade". (Still Learning  ) When I restored my 61' Lonestar it had Back to Back seats and They needed totally redone. Took them to a Boat Upholsterer and he Quoted me $1,200. I estimated my boat to be worth $1,000 - $1,500. Soooo, I call my Sis and asked her how hard it was to learn how to sew. She laughed at me!!!! I watched some YouTube videos and bought an old Kenmore and gave it a go!!! I found I had a Knack for it and so here I am. Not much different than woodworking, just different set of tools :P

Ive seen some of the YouTube stuff. Right now, my interior is in good shape (needs new carpet, but thats easy enough). I expect I'll need some work done in a few years, though. I might start out with household stuff till then.
I also gotta find out how to overcome the limits of an old machine. Mainly that there is no reverse on my Singer. Ill get it, just gotta put in some play time. Till then, my power trim need new wiring, trailer needs attention, and my great-grandfather's double barrel shotgun needs restoring.
