TOPIC: Sea Camper

I ran across an ad for a Sea Camper...never had seen one before and I can't seem to get it out of my head. Interesting boat. Anyone have any experience or an opinion?

Can't say I know anything about them except that I want one. Anybody have some leads?

Which one I was looking at a couple on line the other day. One of them was from Germany about 25k. Is this the one you are talking about?

I saw another one a few days ago that I liked better. The roof of the camper was a 14 foot boat. I just can't find it now.

SeaCamper is a great boat...the comforts of home on the water, with the "get up and go" of a cruiser. Some, like the one we have for sale, have a fly bridge (command bridge). Now THAT is thrilling on a sunny day--ripping across the water, steering the boat from up there! And actually, because of the unique stairs off the stern, you can even use this boat for land camping, too. (as well as launching off the boat to splash around in the water )

I found one about 20 miles from me. It's been vandalized...the rear window broken out and the interior has been totally trashed like a bomb went off inside. The trailer has four flat/rotten tires. I contacted the owner. HE'S NOT INTERESTED IN SELLING...PERIOD! Now THAT'S product loyalty.

The registration on that Sea Camper expired in 2011. I think it's been sitting in the fenced-in storage area since then. Actually, I doubt that the owner is even aware of the damage. I left my name with him...just in case he changes his mind when he finally sees it.
