I did another one like that about 10 years ago: "Elvira", a 1980 Chris Craft Scorpion. I even duplicated the exact lettering for the transom. Sorry, no photos survived the big computer crash of 2009.

I did not know that Plymouth made aqua cars in 1956.

Memorial day, please remember all those who paid the ultimate price so we could enjoy our boats.

A true visionary. Memory fails me at the moment but I think back in the '60's Evinrude produced a boat that actually used one of their four banger outboards as power for an I/O. Thought it was a sweet 16 model but could be wrong

OMC used four-bangers turned sideways in their "Deluxe" models (like Andrew's) and the Dual Deluxe. They might have put them in other boats of that vintage but I know for sure that they were in a Dual Deluxe...because I junked them both in favor of two OMC 120 HP straight fours.

Thanks for the memory. I knew I saw one of those at an auction about 30 years ago, first time I looked I thought it was a home made.
