Finally found a trailer for the 77aristocraft nineteen but the asking price of $ 900.00 seems a little steep since it has two cracked fenders, peeling paint, needs two new tires, wiring and lights and probably new bunks. I was thinking more in line with 300.00

Pix might help someone help you confirm that $900 is high

But, IMO, a trailer to fit a 19, that needs work, isn't a $900 trailer.

Got title? If not, it's 'worth' even less, regardless of whether your state titles trailers or not.

I usually just size them all at 1000.

Most if not all boat trailers except customs are a generic breed that can be made or adjusted to fit just about any smaller boat. You can move axles, move rollers, move bunks etc. I've even converted a roller trailer to a bunk by just removing the rollers and bolting in 12' treated 2x6's. Lots of used trailers on craigslist. $900. is robbery. Going to cost you over $100 just for new tires/mounting. Fenders either have to be replaced or welded and then don't forget the paint and I'm guessing the lights don't work either. $500 would be a good price for a useable trailer that you could set your boat right on and go. $250. Will get you a workable project that you'll stick some $$ into,

Just some examples from my area.

You have described a $200 trailer, not a $900 trailer. Ditto everything 63 Sabre said. Check this out...the whole nine yards for $300 asking price, WITH the hardtop!

It's all on what you think its worth. I'm with you on $300 you have to replace alot. If it's the only one out there that is when you have to make a decision. As a buyer you need to do your due dilligence also find out as much as you can on current owner. Just my thoughts. PM me with any other questions anytime.

Not sure where you're located Rob, but $300 will buy you a nice trailer ready (or pretty much so) for service in the N. GA area. For $900 you can get a nice aluminum trailer that looks like new!

Atlasrob,

ImVho, you can find a complete rig with a GOOD trailer for between FREE & 500.oo.
(I know, right now, of at least 6 serviceable boat/motor/trailer "package deals" within an hours drive from my front door for 200.oo or less.)

I wouldn't even bother to talk to a seller about a used trailer priced at 900.oo, unless it was FULLY RESTORED & something that I really NEED for a "hard to fit" hull.

yours, satx

Rob,I'm with all the guys. 900 is too much for something that needs that much. Heck, I believe the trailer under mine is an old bass boat trailer. And they're as common as dirt. If your close to N.Ga, what Nautilus spotted might be a great deal. I'd grab it if I didn't already have too much junk
