Glass Craft of Fort Dodge, Iowa started in 1953 with incorporation papers signed on 29 December 1953. Founders with Willard and Oral Musick and Ray Bennett and Loren Decker.

By the way, there were a number of "production" builders of fiberglass boats prior to 1952 such as Winner and Wizard and Chemold.
