TOPIC: 1964-1965 Sears Control Cables

1964-1965 Sears Control Cables 14 years 2 months ago #10630

I am trying to find some control cables for a 14' Sears boat built by Star Craft that has a 35 hp motor. I need the throttle and gear shifter cables, the control box has 2 different levers. I think the boat is a 64 or 65 model and I am not sure who made the motor, it has Sears on the cover.

I believe Scott made the outboard motors for sears from aprox. 1959 till they went out of buissness in the mid 60's. I just bought a sears control box and cables for my 1959 Scott 40hp from American Outboard Motors and Salvage. They are very nice people, the lady will talk to you for hours if thats what it takes to get you what you need. You can find them online www.americanoutboard.com . Hope this helps.
