TOPIC: Mystry boat...what the heck is it?

Mystry boat...what the heck is it? 9 years 7 months ago #105910

In the yard across the street and its driving me crazy!!!
The bottom is designed like a hydro. Three point. It has a step on the side and a flat bottom at the stern.

The same or another similar boat has been posted before on the forum. No clue though what it is. You should buy it and restore it; you probably won't see another one like it:

It's fiberglass. The floor and side boards are wood. And the wood must have looked good when it was new. Not now. It's still sitting in a yard near me. Anyone?

I suspect the wood interior was added at some point, never seen a factory built glass boat w blank decking and interior.

No idea on a maker, the bulbous bow is certainly distinctive, add the fins in the back, and when you see a boat thats similar, it shouldnt be hard to confirm, just got to find a similar boat in the library, so dig in and start looking thru the posted pix and brochures.

I'm thinking it was one of those Luger kit fiberglass boats where you get a plain deck and empty hull then add the rest. Original owner builder probably did the fancy floor to his liking when originally done.
Just a thought.
