This might be a dump question but what does that karma mean?

kar·ma/ˈkärmə/
noun
(in Hinduism and Buddhism) the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.

I predict I'll lose some for this.. but it might be in my other existence....

Commando, I see it as just a different way of saying "thank you" for help and advice. If you can check back a few years ago John Gibson got deluged with karma points for all his contributions to this site and all around help, advice and charity work.

Karma and be good or bad, so you want to do things to make good Karma, like helping someone else brings good Karma, always taking is bad. If you treat others poorly then they say Karma will get you back

This place (FG) has been such a wealth of information to me and many others, it just feels good to be able to pass along some of the tips and tricks picked up by those who were kind enough to share with rookies like me. Keeping that attitude alive is just part of the deal, I still learn something every day here! :P

you all should have more karma than me!i have screwed up in the last couple of years,i still have to get a cowl done,i have had it for a long while,i keep getting a run in it,when i do get it right im still not happy with it,so i screw up again,i WILL get it right when it gets warmer again ,so i can give it back to todd.
i also have the body work on the the pedal firetruck for make a wish charity,to be auctioned off on behalf of fiberglassics,i just need to paint it and put it back together.and i need to get tires for it yet.
there are very many more that have helped others way more than me,so give karma where karma is due, john

Hi John, By going back a few years in FG, I see you have helped many here. I have learned from you & many others and only wish I can help others as well.

A number years back a friend of mine fixed up a pedal car for his son. He needed tires and used rubber hose and a short piece of wood dowel, & glue. His grand kids are using it now.
