Usually the deck is the same color as the transom, maybe was painted?

this is an original gel coat with original dash,new stringers,floor,transom,seats but very nice,even glass windshield,,Bill

Thanks so much, he did tell me it's original gel coat, hopefully it color sands out as well as my Wacanda did. It does have the original glass windshield like my PM Lance does, another guy want to give me 2 Pacific Mariner Daggers, the type used in the Seattle worlds fair, still waiting on pics, I will have a whole PM fleet soon.
Your boat is the color I want so if the red doesn't sand out it's getting painted turquoise.

Yup Neal, he might be coming out to pick up a MBZ Diesel so working out the logistics right now, I had a '82 Mercedes 300SD turbo, wish I still had it we could have traded.

(I have TWO of them. = a 1986 300SDL & a 1982 300CD.)

Now if I could find a classic rig that's light enough to tow with the little coupe!!

Cool, I loved that Turbo Diesel, just the interior was fried, thought one of my kids would want it but didn't, 27 mpg back in the late 80's when it was cheap.

The 300CD gets about 33MPG on the highway & about 27-28 in town.
(Once my mechanic, Steve, gets all the "bugs" worked out of it, as a result of "sitting" for over a year after the PO passed away, the 300SDL will be fully restored by his dad, who is a retired paint & body tech, to be my DD.)

Btw, you could buy TWO "fully-loaded" Corvettes in 1982 for the price of a 300CD and only THREE PERCENT of Mercedes production were diesel coupes.
(The 300CD will be my "play-toy" & "Sunday driver".)
