Recuperating from surgery. Never even gave my boats a thought.

Hope your recovery is going well Jan, sorry to hear you're "under the weather". Let us know how it's going.

I hear ya Ron, Bill comes up with some of the most gorgeous paint schemes I've ever seen! This one's going to be another head turner Bill, looks great IMHO.

No wonder you've been so quiet Neil, you've been BUSY!

I haven't been able to work on anything lately, moved everything out of the garage so the wife could use it for Christmas decoration staging area. Hope to remedy that soon, I'm getting anxious to get back to work on something!

ok update on my work here are a few pictures of the nonskid around the cabin. i wanted it in the same color as the paint but tuff coat couldn't be sure the paint would stick so i went with the intergrip additive for the brightsides paint. roll a coat on ,broadcast the micro spheres dry, then vacuum off and spray a final coat. worked great... i got my mistake fixed today and now waiting on a few days of warmer weather to paint it one more time. you can see in the pictures the outline of the nonskid around the deck. the voids are for my hardware i have about a 1/4" margin around the part. i think it will work fine after the final coat. i am hoping this will make the calender for next year. im working hard and shooting for this summer for her maiden voyage ......

I guess that does make it a little easier to get to the drain plug, but won't it leak a little afterwards?

Goodness Neil !
You’ve been busy !
I have a Shepherd outboard that size, but mine is a wreck.

How many burn barrels did you fill with that 26' boat ?

One of the saddest days of my life, was cutting up and burning a Lyman Islander.
Did you know ? you can fit an Islander boat in a 55 gallon drum in one weekend ?

I'm showing my MFG at the ACBS booth at the Mid-America Boat Show at the IX-Center in Cleveland through today.
Showing it gives the opportunity to at least talk with others about boats until spring comes.

I dropped off the lower unit from my 63 75hp evinrude @ the CVTC marine tec school for pressure test, reseal, water pump, and hopefully fix the clunk I have when shifting from reverse to forward.

How hard will it be to find a good clutch dog for this if I need one?

Thanks, Gene

Back to the barn, got a pair of white back to back seats, look like NOS from the 70's still wood frame, only one hole looks like a mouse chewed it, have to hit it with some mineral spirts today, a bunch of chrome, more rolls of vinyl and some old sails.

Brian, that blue looks electric! It really sets the deck lines of the boat off. That's one more NICE Aristo Craft. Great job.

I'm in the process of getting my old trailer ready for salt water duty this summer. I decided not to put the new trailer in the salt. Worked too hard on it to mess it up LOL.Had to do a little repair on it from previous salt damage.
