TOPIC: Can you help me identify this classic?

Hi There,

I have found this boat that I instantly fell in love with. I know it's a project but it is always good to recycle good old boats! This boat is 18'-20' long approximately and has a Mercruiser Inboard with sterndrive. The HIN says it was built in 1964. The HIN Number is: UT-74792-SA-964 Here are some photos

Can you tell me what kind of boat this is?

Is she fiberglass or wood?

The UT 4792 SA is the state of Utah assigned registration code. It has nothing to do with the year of the boat or the make or model.

I like lapstrake hulls.

The number that I have down was found where HIN numbers are generally (On the starboard side of the back of the transom) The HIN looks as if someone used a paperclip to engrave it

if it looks like it was ingraved after it left the factory, it's probably what someone used to register it years later. if you can you might search Utah to see if the numbers on the bow show up...john
