So I flip the boat over today ad found a lots of crack on the gelcoat so I think it is better to sand it down and reglass the whole bottom again. The boat in the back is a 1959 Larson senior not mine belong to a friend I'm just doing the work for him.

Going to be a sweet ride, wish I had a place like that to work, this outdoors in freezing cold is no fun, no wet sanding for 2 days :(

Just trying my best to do it nice and stay out of trouble.I still got a long way to go to get it done but I try not to think about that it seem like to much work.back to work tomorrow at regular job so less time for her now.

I tackle every project by breaking it up into small goals and if those goals turn out to be more than I can chew I break it up even more. and try try try try, but fail not to start another project before i finish the current one.

Ran out of filler today and it's weekend so I couldn't do any body work and hull is not ready to sand down yet for 2nd coat of gelcoat so I fiddle around with making a mold for my top winshield also I am trying to make a swim grid and engine pod upside down which is a little bit tricky and not sure if it will look or work okay But the cool thing is I went to a flea market this morning and found a nice bow light for $10.

Got more filler today so on the deck it goes almost done with body work I just have to dye the deck and board it down to find low spot.I made a fiberglass mold for the hull extension and dry fit it and everything line up good I hope my pod and swim grind works or else it a waste of time not only that I don't want to have to fix anything once my boat is all done.

Well I finish all of the body work on the extension and the deck also I spray a coat of sealer on it everthing look very straight and all good to go ahead with my final choice of color in gelcoat.my gelcoat arrive today so maybe this weekend I can spray it if the weather is nice enough.the bad news is no one get to see what color it is hihihi so next time I post is the interior work on this boat only that might be awhile cause of the time it took to wet sand and polish the boat and mate the deck to hull stage. I'm curious if you guy look at the extension can you tell if it is a add on or not I just want to know your opinion. Thanks

Just joking here is what my boat color is a little bit of yellow, green for sure and a little bit of blue depend on where the sun hits it.I love it......got 2 coats on so when it is dry I'll board it down with 3 20 grit and spray 2 more coats on her.

Love the color. It really brings out the lines also. I never noticed the extension lines that you took all the way back when it was primer. Very nice job!

Did got some gelcoat on deck and started on the wood work but as my schedule is very tight so I made a rolling cart and rack so I can put her away for now until I have time I can just push her out of a corner and work on her again.

I got the color from a fathers day card that my oldest daughters made for me when she was 5 yrs old.as you can see I have to rip the top corner to go get the gelcoat mix to match it.I think the card said I love you I love you when I was little I still love you.
