Weather is cold and wet,work is slow,father inlaw pass away yesterday,wife went back to Vietnam for the funeral ,the day is short.can,t really work on any of my boats cause I have to take care of my 2girls.hopefully I'm taking the month of December of for holiday things will be better and have time for myself.

Nothing to be sorry about,life or death is part of life.it is his time to go so we all should be happy he had his time on earth now he can have his time in heaven.sure we will miss him but try to tell that to a 7 yrs old girl,all she said is its ok grampa die but I don't want you to die dad.All I can say is thanks for gaving me a beautiful and wonderful wife and a mother of my 2 lovely daughter but I should say it when he was still alive.thanks dad with out you I would not have my family that I have today.

Sir, as a 1969 Nam Vet a kid at 19. I wish the best to you as I got a real "soft spot" in my heart for the worn out war refugees who decided to get out that war torn country..and welcome them all here with open arms, and a hug. Don't know if you are or not, but don't matter to me. Ya all simple damn great people.

Just about where in Nam are ya talking? I was in "Plieku", central highlands. A Mechanic/spare side gunner on the rear end convoys "Guntruck".

Again sorry for your loss as losing a parent is tough. Lost mine decade or better them, but the "mems?"..Forever......Be well.
