Hi Glassers,

Is there a chart or book that I can get to
tell if a prop is the right one for my engine,
I see many on Ebay, but not sure if they would fit
my 59 Johnson 35, need to know inch, pitch etc.
example-- Michigan SMC 51 is on this prop, would it fit
on the 35? Is there a Michigan book?

thanks
Happy Thanksgiving to all,

Rick

The prop the 35s were shipped with, or the most common one is a 12 pitch. IIRC Use one of the online prop calculators to approximate what you need for the hull in question.

But first estimate the hulls speed with www.psychosnail.com/boatspeed/boatspeedcalculator There is a lot or required reading there about hull power requirements that will be enlightening.
