while out bear hunting john fell, resulting in back surgery tomorrow morning. herniated disk surgery. prayers that the surgery straightens him out and he is back on the pole line soon. best buddy, ron

I sent John an email. Replied yeaterday

Other then a blood pressure drop in post op recovery, surgery went well. He's in quite a bit of pain when he moves though. It does lessen his leg pain though.

ron was close to what happened to me,lol.
i hurt my back 2 months ago while lifting a tv,i then tried to get help for it,and seeing many doctors and a trip to the emergency room,it wasnt until the center for spine and pain management did an mri,that they found out a had a very bad disc protrusion.
which was making my right leg very weak,and left my right foot slap the ground when i walked,the pain also would not stop.
the surgeon said if i didnt get it done my leg would get worse,if it already is too late to get my leg strength back.

so they sent me to a surgeon right away,who i saw on a friday,and he scheduled surgery the first thing tuesday morning.
but knowing i would not be able to hunt this year,except for monday of bear season,so i tried to go out but could not do it,because of the weakness in my right leg,which went out on me trying to get back to our truck,i know pretty stupid huh ,so thats the story,2 months later.

i thank all of you very,very much for your concern and well wishes,you are a great bunch of guys,john
