This is a kitboat from the 50's,either popular mech or popular science or one of the others is what we have so far,it was wood then wrapped in glass,At first I thought it was an aristocraft that some one put fins on,but looking a it they copied the deck style then they copied the sea lark stern look,I talked to one old guy that said he remembers it on a front cover of one of the issues, and this old guy is usually right, take a look Bill

Bill,
Oh boy, you'll have KevFin jealous with this one, height of the fins rivals his Bat Boat he got from me!

Hello Bill,

Cool old boat for sure.

And like you say definitely a knock off of the Brooks Stevens design for the 1956 Evinrude Lark.

Any history on it and what are your plans?

It look to me like the top portion of the fins may have been added on?

FG work looks a little rough, but I'm sure you'll make it look great!
