Hi rr, i'm currently doin the same thing, started with a pretty bad shape 64 avalon then came apon a 67 which is now my current project. The first pics are the 64 which i've allready parted out and kept what i wanted, the 67 is still work in progress, just needs interior and some paint work. Not sure if any of this will help, good to see another avalon project on board though.

my Avalon lives in NE WI about 40 miles north of Green Bay
and is sleeping for the off season. The season is short there
from Memorial day to Labor day.
I live in Chicago's northern suburbs and the Abbey is an hour away.
I have seen your photos of the beautiful classics in prior years
but have been working on the weekends in the past. I will see if
I can get free for a Saturday and see them in person.
