TOPIC: Dash Plate Emblem

This is the center piece that was on my boat. I switched to the Golden Jubilee version. It is all gold possibly faded. Since it has an "E" on it I am assuming it's Evinrude although the horse tells me Johnson. Does anyone have any information on it? Year? Model?

I am still searching for the missing Golden Jubilee logo for the cowl on my Fat Fifty. Gimme a shout if you have any leads on one.

The emblem you have is for the 1957 Johnson, I might have the correct one for the 59 Evinrude, I will check the shop tomorrow

Thanks Al, I kind of suspected old Johnson. I'm not familiar with their old stuff. Also, thanks for checking on that cowl medallion it just don't look right without it.


57 Johnson, that is around the time of the Golden Javelin. Great name for outboards.
