TOPIC: johnson 6 hp does not start well

I'm having a johnson 6 hp It does start but cold almost not and once running it is running good but if I want to start immediately after running the motor he wont start and after 5-10 minutes it starts good maybe someone can help

Used to find this on cars. When the coils get warm in the pirmary winding the wire in side will short out, open short and after they cool down they will start. But sounds more like a fuel problem. Like not getting enough gas. So might start from the fuel tank and keep working all the way to the carbs.

Oké I think that the fuel mixture knop was not place correct alter cleaning the carb so placed h im correct and I hope it will run but I wil check the fuel pomp maybe there is a problem in there

If that has a high and low speed knobs the low speed is set for start up at 1 1/2 truns out and the high is 1/2 out both from lightly seted and I mean lightly seted. Once started you can fine turn the low speed but he high speed will have to be out on the water

tested him today is running great got up to 16 miles per hour
starts great and thank you for the reply
