Got a 1959 Johnson for my Falls Flyer restoration. When I bought the motor it was rattle can painted with an off white . I got the original Johnson color and Stripped the shroud down and painted it,detailed the lettering. Added a couple red highlights to go with the Boat and trailer accents. I got some Colored 3M vinyl and used an exacto knife to do the small lettering on the Stainless band around the motor. Now this winter I will take the lower unit apart and paint and detail . Got a little behind on the restoration this summer so my new plan is to have it all Lake worthy next Spring . This is the Falls Flyer and Tee Nee trailer it's going to ride on .

WOW!!!

You did a really go job on that motor. Everything is going to look better than new. Keep up the good work.

P.S. Please don't raise the bar any higher. I'm still trying to find the ladder. I'm going to need it to catch up to guys like you.

That is going to be a beautiful combination of boat and motor. Those old white motors paint up sharp.
