TOPIC: Trim Tilt for a 1971 100hp Johson

I have a 1971 Johnson 100 selectric. Need to put some sort of trim tilt kit on it. Does anybody know if they were made for a 1971? If so do you have model numbers. Also, looking to buy a unit if available.

I don't know specifically if you can fit something to your motor, so hopefully someone else can tell you for sure. If you happen to learn that you cannot, have you ever considered an aftermarket unit? It just so happens that I have one of those for sale! You can actually see the exact unit on the boat in my profile picture. It's a CMC PT130. It's two years old, and the boat has been in the water maybe 20 times since the restoration was complete, so it's in great shape. I am in the middle of putting the final touches on a newer motor that has integrated power trim, so once I make the switch, I won't need this unit anymore.

Tilt was optional not standard. No trim available at that time. I'm unsure of the 1st year tilt was available.....
