TOPIC: Anyone Know the Pitch on a Michigan Wheel Prop?

Found a Michigan Wheel bronze prop that would fit my '66 Starflite 100.

Number PR 104


All I want is a general use prop. If it's close to something that would run the motor in it's power band, I'm good. And I'll never forget the bronze prop all shined up on my Dad's Mercury 75 horse dockbuster, so there is some nostalgia with the bronze.

Prop numbers? Most Michigan props I've seen have a number stamped into the hub... Without that, it's just a guess...

You better have a good way to tighten the bronze down so there is no slack in it or you will share prop pins just going from forward to revirse. I know i shared 2 in 2 weeks.

You mean play on the prop shaft (loose shear pin)? My aluminum is tight but I guess that doesn't mean the bronze would be.
