What was the usual cylinder compression on a 62-63 75hp when they were new and in tip top shape? thanks

I don't know what compresson was on a new motor but if you have anything over 80lbs its a runner and some will run even lower then that.

I'm thinking about switching the engines between the aristo and the crestliner(they're identical) cause the 63 on the aristo, compression for 1-4 cylinders is 80lb, 75,75, 65. On the 62 crestliner,it is 100,90,95,85. Do you think it would be worth it, Mike? BTW;The aristo will run around 33mph with just me in there and about 30 with 3 people while the crestliner will run around 35 with three people aboard.
